What Makes Our Office So Different?
The mission of Excel Chiropractic and Wellness is to provide the members of our community with high quality, affordable health care in a comfortable and caring environment. Our goal is not only to alleviate pain, but, more importantly, to inspire and educate our patients to become active participants in their own well-being.
We take the time to listen to your complaints and evaluate your body for what it is – a whole entity. You’re not just a low back, a knee, or a shoulder, so when you come to our office we want to address your main complaint and understand why that complaint is present. We would be doing you a disservice if we only touched the area of pain and didn’t take into consideration all the factors that could be causing you pain, and address other areas of dysfunction, so you can be the best version of yourself.

Our first goal with every patient is to conduct a thorough evaluation to understand their complaints, the cause of their pain, and their functional limitations. By doing this, we are able to determine a necessary treatment plan for each person to best address their issues. Yes, many people come to us in pain and are looking for answers. Yes, each doctor is very good at addressing your acute injuries and problems to help you get out of pain. Ultimately, our long-term goal for patients is to educate them on how to take care of themselves for the long haul and to understand that taking a preventative approach to their health care is far better than waiting until they are hurting so bad they can barely move. Wellness is what we all want, Wellness is what we all need, and Wellness is what we can help provide.
We truly care about every patient that comes through our doors and will do everything within our power to help each and every one of them improve the state of their health. The great thing is you don’t have to take our word for it. Just take a quick look through the hundreds of reviews we’ve received over the years to see what our patients say about our office. We take a patient-centric approach when it comes to care in our office. We want you to feel at home and know that we always have your best interest in mind.
Using a unique combination of specific Chiropractic adjustments, Active Release Technique (soft tissue treatment), and functional rehab we can help you go from pain and discomfort to Excelling with Wellness and living your life as the best version of you.

How We Get You Feeling Better and Moving Better Fast
Stop masking the symptoms and get to the root cause of the problem
1. Pinpoint The Root Cause
We don’t want to take any chances with your health. We dedicate time for an in-depth exam to understand the root cause of your pain. This allows us to utilize the best techniques for your condition so you yield a better response to care and have a faster return to life.
2. Tailor A Specific Plan
Every person is unique and we want to make sure that your treatment plan is too. From the information gathered from your exam, your doctor will create a custom plan of attack to not only get you out of pain fast but to keep you out of pain long term.
3. Start Excelling In Life
We believe that health is not merely the absence of symptoms but also a state of complete physical, social, and mental well-being. Health is created with every decision we make throughout the day. We shouldn’t just get through life, we should Excel at Life.

What Could Not Fixing This Problem Cost You?
Every day we have people that come into the office with a problem and when we ask them when and how it first started they can point to the exact moment, sometimes decades earlier. At our office, we focus on how your body is functioning as opposed to how it is feeling. Pain and discomfort are intelligent reactions of the body, not defective reactions. When the body is functioning correctly there is no need for the intelligent reaction of pain. Unfortunately, too many patients only decide to seek care when they start feeling bad enough. The problem with that is pain is usually the last thing to show up and the first thing to go away when there is a functional problem. It is kind of like the tip of the iceberg. Pain is a terrible gauge for what is truly happening in the body. We may be improving functionally and still have some pain. Conversely, pain may not be present when we have improper function until it is too late.

When a patient has been dealing with a problem for so many years and then they start to function (and feel) better one thing that we commonly hear from them is, “I wish I would have found you guys years ago, it could have saved me time and money!” You see, matter has limitations. What we mean by that is that when something happens, let’s say you are in a car accident, your body changes. Now if we are able to treat someone right away, it is much more likely to get someone back to their “pre-injury” status because the changes haven’t become the new normal yet. The longer you wait, the more those changes become permanent. Scar tissue builds up, the way you move changes, nerves can be damaged and that all can happen without you feeling any pain. If we get to someone a long time after that accident, there is a good chance that we can get them feeling better but there is a certain amount of function that is never coming back, and if they aren’t able to function at 100% they will be more susceptible to injuries going forward. Many patients won’t have pain immediately after an accident, but their function is altered because their ligaments and tendons went through a stretching deformation and that causes the joints to move improperly. As 2-4 months of abnormal function pass by (all without pain), we start to have wear and tear on the structures and then pain sets in. Since the accident happened so long ago, we don’t often attribute our current pain with the accident.
