Active Release Technique (A.R.T.) is a hands-on procedure that allows a chiropractor to diagnose and treat soft tissue injuries related to muscle, tendon, fascia, and nerve issues.

When muscles, joints, or ligaments are injured, our body lays down scar tissue as a repair patch. If the source of the injury is not corrected, scar tissue will continue to accumulate, making you vulnerable to disorders like muscular weakness, numbness, aching, tingling and burning sensations. A.R.T. breaks up and elongates that scar tissue, allowing the body to heal naturally and superiorly with the restoration of normalized function.

Specific injuries the A.R.T. can help with are: repetitive strains, adhesions, tissue hypoxia, and joint dysfunction.
